Titans | Delanie Walker says cancers ruined team

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker said up to six players who qualified as ‘cancers’ ruined the team in 2013 and led to the firing of head coach Mike Munchak. ‘When we started losing more games, we got to see it more and more, it was just like it was falling apart,’ Walker said. ‘And the players that were the cancer were dragging other players into that box with them, and the box was getting bigger and bigger. At first, it was just a small box. The box just got bigger and bigger.’

Footballguys View: Players like Kenny Britt proved to be a dividing force on the team. Britt wasn’t the only player, former Titans TE Jared Cook was also unhappy during his time in Tennessee.

Buccaneers | Coach talks Darrelle Revis

Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerbacks coach Gill Byrd said CB Darrelle Revis can play in any defensive scheme because he is so talented.

Footballguys View: Coach Byrd is right. Revis was misused at times in 2013, but we’re not expecting that to happen under the new regime. We could see the Bucs defense continue to improve under the guidance of new head coach Lovie Smith.

Ravens | Gary Kubiak undecided with where to call plays from

Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak said he is unsure of if he will call plays from the booth or field, and it may come down to QB Joe Flacco’s comfort. “It probably gets down to how comfortable Joe may be,” Kubiak said on Monday. “If Joe wants me down there and is more comfortable with me down there, fine.”
