Seahawks | Michael Bennett hopes to return

Seattle Seahawks DE Michael Bennett said Monday, Jan. 27, that he would like to return to the team next season. He is an impending free-agent after Super Bowl XLVIII. ‘You do want long-term deals, but I don’t think about it as much as some people think I think about it. I think about winning this game,’ Bennett said. ‘I’m taking it one game at a time, taking care of this moment and playing for this team. I would love to stay in Seattle. I love everything about the players, the coaches and the fans.’

Cowboys | Will hire Scott Linehan

The Dallas Cowboys will hire former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan as their play caller.

Footballguys View: Head coach Jason Garrett used to have play calling duties, but now the team has changed direction. Linehan has plenty of experience in the league, and he should build a pass-happy system around Tony Romo.
