Updating a previous item, the new contract signed by Oakland Raiders CB Taiwan Jones includes a roster bonus of $855,000 for the 2014 season, as well as annual $50,000 workout bonuses. Jones’ 2014 base salary remains at the minimum ($645,000), while it will increase to $1.1 million for each of the following three seasons. Jones will also earn a $100,000 bonus if he makes the Pro Bowl.

The Lions would be comfortable heading into the 2014 season with OT LaAdrian Waddle and OT Corey Hilliard as their right tackles, according to general manager Martin Mayhew, who says both players played “really good football” for the team last season.
