Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said the team has to do something with DE DeMarcus Ware this offseason because of his contract and possible declining play, but there is no timetable to make a decision at this point. Jones said he has not talked with Ware or his agent at this point and is not sure when he will be able to talk to either one.

Despite winning Super Bowls in 1992 and 1993 under his handpicked head coach, Jimmy Johnson, Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said he regrets immediately firing legendary Cowboys head coach Tom Landry after Jones purchased the team 25 years ago. Then-Cowboys owner H.R. Bum Bright offered to fire Landry before Jones took over, but Jones insisted he would be the one and wanted to look Landry in the eyes.

NFL | Prince Shembo had been investigated for sexual assault

Former Notre Dame LB Prince Shembo told reporters at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine that he was investigated for the sexual assault of a St. Mary’s College student in 2010. Lizzy Seeberg reported Sept. 6, 2010 that she was inappropriately touched by a Notre Dame football player on Aug. 31, 2010. Shembo wasn’t charged in connection to the alleged assault and maintains his innocence. Seeberg committed suicide four days after reporting the supposed attack. Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly told Shembo not to speak of the situation, according to the linebacker.
