Baltimore Ravens WR Deonte Thompson was arrested and charged with suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia Friday, Feb. 21, in Gainesville, Fla. He was a passenger in an SUV that was pulled over about 11:45 p.m. EST for driving without its headlights on. Police found a duffel bag reportedly containing 29 grams of marijuana, which the driver, Alvon Smmerall, and a passenger, Erskine J. McKinley, claimed were their own. Ravens team spokesman Chad Steele said the team was aware of the situation and is still in fact-gathering mode.
