Ravens | Ray Rice expected to remain to the team

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said there is nothing to suggest RB Ray Rice would not be with the team in 2014, after getting arrested over the weekend for an altercation with his fiancee. ‘Not that I’m aware of. I haven’t seen anything that would remotely make me think that.’

Buccaneers | Derek Carr would love to join team

Fresno State QB Derek Carr said he would love to be drafted by the team, and would love to play for offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford. Carr used to play catch with Tedford as a kid.

Footballguys View: Tedford was like a personal quarterback coach for Carr last year at Fresno State. The long-time Cal coach was out of work, but he made sure to follow Carr’s game in college and give him pointers each week. The connection is strong, and the Bucs may select Carr with the 7th overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.

Seahawks | Coach hypes Christine Michael

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll hyped RB Christine Michael, saying he could be the team’s biggest breakout candidate in 2014. “He’s really talented and a really exciting guy in our program. Probably has the most breakout potential of anybody because we haven’t seen much of him yet. We’ve seen him, we know that he can do really special stuff. He played in a very competitive position.” Carroll continued, “It was hard to get in there with Marshawn and Robert Turbin. But he’ll give those guys a real run when we come back to work. He’ll grow a lot from year one to year two. We all know in our program that he’s going to be very explosive and a really exciting guy. He showed that in his chances that he got.”

Footballguys View: Michael has the ability to be a starter in the NFL. He’s big, strong and can churn out tough yards between the tackles. Dynasty owners just need to be patient with this guy. If healthy, he could be a great player in this league.
