New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan indicated that QB Geno Smith will enter offseason practices in the early lead in the quarterback competition between QB Michael Vick, and Smith will work with the first team when practices start next month. However, Ryan isn’t ruling out Vick as the Week 1 starter when the season comes. ‘It’s going to be really interesting to watch that competition unfold.
