Jerick McKinnon draws crowd to Georgia Southern’s pro day

Representatives from 16 NFL teams — including a running backs coach from the Oakland Raiders and a defensive assistant coach from the Chicago Bears — were present for Georgia Southern’s pro day on March 27, when 11 players worked out outdoors on grass in 5-10 mile-per-hour wind gusts. Jerick McKinnon, RB (5-foot-9 1/8, 207 pounds) — McKinnon stood on his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine (he had a spectacular combine, being a top performer in his position group in all of the drills).
