Bills | Mike Williams enters intervention program

Buffalo Bills WR Mike Williams will re-enter a pre-trial intervention program that will allow him to avoid two misdemeanor charges. Williams took part in organized team activities for a second straight day Thursday, May 29, as he’s facing misdemeanor charges of trespassing and criminal mischief after he reportedly caused $200 in damage to his girlfriend’s front door last year.

Jets | Marty Mornhinweg gives take on QB competition

New York Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said there is ‘competition’ between QBs Geno Smith and Michael Vick. ‘It may not be quite like the competition we had last year, where everything was 50-50,’ said Mornhinweg, alluding to the open competition between Smith and QB Mark Sanchez. ‘Mike has all that experienced banked. We’re trying to continue the progress with Geno and then have Mike ready to go. It’s just that simple, and Mike knows exactly what expectations and roles he has.’ Mornhinweg said earlier this offseason that Smith will receive more practice repetitions than Vick.
