New York Jets WR Eric Decker is clearly a go-to guy and will be valuable in critical situations, according to head coach Rex Ryan.

Footballguys View: Decker is clutch, and that’s why he was one of Peyton Manning’s favorite targets. Now that he’s with the Jets, Geno Smith should be looking Decker’s way early and often. Decker is especially talented as a red-zone target, and his presence could help the Jets offense be more productive when close to pay dirt.

The Buffalo Bills have signed first-round draft choice WR Sammy Watkins. Terms of the contract were not disclosed, but all contracts signed by draft picks are four-year deals, according to NFL rules.

Footballguys View: Watkins is a phenomenal talent with the upside to be a top-5 receiver in today’s NFL. The Bills have gone “all in” on QB E.J. Manuel, and moving up to draft Watkins was the right move. Watkins is fast, quick, agile and dangerous after the catch. He’s a threat to score any time he touches the ball, and Watkins could be a fantasy force from day one. Currently, Watkins has an ADP of WR28 (6.09) in 12-team PPR leagues.
