Kansas City Chiefs OT Laurent Duvernay-Tardif said he weighed 307 pounds when he arrived to rookie minicamp but is willing to add some weight if the team wants him to this offseason. General manager John Dorsey said after the draft he could easily see Duvernay-Tardif play at between 325 pounds and 330 pounds.

Kansas City Chiefs CB Phillip Gaines said he weighs 183 pounds but believes he can add some weight before the start of the season. ‘I honestly don’t know how big I can get, but I’m sure once I start eating right and lifting right, I could definitely get to the 190s consistently,’ Gaines said. He said he thinks the extra weight will help him in his press coverage technique.
