Bengals | OC has praise for Andy Dalton, A.J. Green

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton and WR A.J. Green are the best quarterback-receiver duo in the league, according to offensive coordinator Hue Jackson. ‘I think both of these guys are in the prime of their careers,’ Jackson said. ‘I wouldn’t change the two guys I have for anybody at this point because these guys know how to do it together.’

Footballguys View: Jackson is going to implement a run-heavy offense this year featuring second-year pro Gio Bernard and rookie Jeremy Hill. This is going to set up play-action passing for Dalton and Green each week. The talented duo should be able to take advantage. The new offensive philosophy hasn’t done much to alter Green’s fantasy outlook. His current ADP is WR4 (1.12) in 12-team PPR leagues.

Raiders | Khalil Mack drawing praise

Oakland Raiders LB Khalil Mack’s athleticism is drawing praise from DT Pat Sims. Sims also noted Mack can play almost any position in the front seven.

Footballguys View: Mack is one of the best young pass-rushers in the rookie class. It will be interesting to see how much havoc he can wreak from multiple positions in 2014.

Titans | Collin Mooney on roster bubble

Tennessee Titans FB Collin Mooney may not make the team’s final roster. RB Jackie Battle is being given the opportunity to double as a running back and fullback, and it is still to be determined how much a fullback will be featured under head coach Ken Whisenhunt.

Footballguys View: Mooney is a good blocker and receiver out of the backfield, but fullbacks are the dinosaurs of the NFL. We’d be surprised to see him make much of an impact even if he does make the 53-man roster.

Browns | Jordan Cameron hires new agent

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron recently hired high-powered agent Tom Condon, who will drive a hard bargain in contract negotiations. The Browns would like to sign Cameron to an extension before the season, according to The Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Mary Kay Cabot.

Footballguys View: New agent and new (likely big-money) deal coming for the talented tight end. Cameron is a fantastic talent with incredible upside, no matter who the quarterback is in Cleveland. Like Jimmy Graham (Saints) and Julius Thomas (Broncos), Cameron is a former basketball star (USC) who has successfully made the transition to impact tight end at the pro level.
