Jaguars | Allen Robinson contract details

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Robinson agreed to a four-year contract worth $3.510 million with $1.173 million guaranteed and an $873,360 bonus.

Footballguys View: Robinson is currently backing up Cecil Shorts, although Shorts is already banged up, reminding us that Robinson could still see significant time on the field even if the depth chart doesn’t change. Still, with the likelihood of poor or inexperienced QB play and Robinson’s relatively raw wide receiver game, he is one of the least likely rookie WRs to make an impact in fantasy leagues this year.

Giants | Unsure who will start at left tackle

The New York Giants are not sure who will be the starting left tackle at this point, according to offensive line coach Pat Flaherty. ‘As of today, no, we probably don’t,’ Flaherty said. ‘But we’re not playing today. We have some time. But as we get closer to training camp and we get into training camp, as the old saying goes, the walls are closing in.’

Redskins | Jordan Reed expected to be key part of offense

Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Sean McVay said TE Jordan Reed will be a big part of the team’s offense in 2014. “He’s going be a key player in our offense,” McVay told the media during minicamp. “He’s an elite route runner for the position, and he still competes with the toughness. He’s got great feet, so he can cover guys up in the run game.”

Ravens | Joe Flacco talks playbook

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco said the new offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak’s playbook is not very difficult to learn, noting the main change from last year’s system is the terminology is ‘completely different.’ Flacco said the offense is playing faster because of a more streamlined playbook, which allows players to ‘do what they’re good at’ because of having fewer things to consider.
