Dolphins | Knowshon Moreno will undergo knee surgery
Miami Dolphins RB knowshon Moreno (knee) will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery this week, according to sources. Moreno is expected to miss four to five weeks.
Footballguys View: The Dolphins were the only team to reach out to Moreno this offseason. He was coming off a 1,500 all-purpose yardage season, so teams must have felt Moreno was too much of an injury risk. The Peyton Manning effect on his stats also had to play a role. Miami was hoping that Moreno could push Lamar Miller for the starting job. Now they may be looking at adding another veteran running back in free agency.
