Seahawks | Kevin Williams hopes to be fresh

Seattle Seahawks DT Kevin Williams played 718 defensive snaps in 2013 with the Minnesota Vikings and hopes to play closer to the 500 mark in the upcoming season. Last year, Seahawks DE Michael Bennett was the team’s only defensive lineman to participate in at least 600 snaps, while no other lineman played more than 58 percent of the downs. Williams expects to play an active role in chasing quarterbacks, even at age 33, if he can limit how many reps he receives in effort to stay fresh.

Footballguys View: The Seahawks have a fine rotation on the defensive line. This keeps all the players fresh and able to get pressure on opposing quarterbacks. We’re sure Williams will be a fantastic fit with his new team.

Ravens | Mike Willie terms

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Willie’s one-year deal is worth $420,000 with a split salary.

Footballguys View: Willie has to be considered a longshot to make the final roster, but there are some good things about his game. He’s a big, physical wide receiver that can win at the point of the catch. Willie is also fearless when running routes over the middle. We’ll see if he can impress enough to win a spot as his practice squad eligibility is running out.
