Dolphins | DeVante Parker feels he’s back
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (foot) said he feels like himself and is gaining confidence with his foot again.
Footballguys View: Parker was one of our favorite rookie receivers in this draft class. He’s got the speed to get by defenders in the blink of an eye, plus he tracks passes well over his shoulder. If/when he emerges, it could cut into the time/targets/production for Rishard Matthews. Fantasy owners need to know that Matthews is hot right now (11th-most fantasy points by a WR in PPR leagues), but that could change if Parker plays up to his potential.
Cowboys | Jason Witten past injuries
Dallas Cowboys TE Jason Witten (ankles, knee) is feeling well, and head coach Jason Garrett said Wednesday, Sept. 30, the team anticipates Witten’s injuries are behind him.
Footballguys View: Good! The Cowboys need Witten to play up to his potential now more than ever while Tony Romo is out. Fantasy owners should keep him in as a low-end TE1.
Colts | Vontae Davis out of practice
Indianapolis Colts CB Vontae Davis (undisclosed) is out of practice Wednesday, Sept. 30, for an undisclosed reason.
Footballguys View: Check back to see if Davis can practice later in the week. If he plays against the Jaguars, he could make Allen Robinson’s day tough.
