Broncos | Denver run game stalls again

The Denver Broncos running game failed to materialize again in a Week 3 win over the Detroit Lions. RBs C.J. Anderson (concussion) and Juwan Thompson (neck) missed big chunks of the game due to injury, and the Broncos managed just 41 yards on the ground on 19 carries. Denver ran 99% of their plays in the pistol formation, making QB Peyton Manning more comfortable.

Giants | Victor Cruz ready to play

New York Giants WR Victor Cruz (calf, knee) said he is 100% healthy and ready to play in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills.

Footballguys View: Good news for the Giants and their passing game here. Watch his practice status during the week to see if he’s truly ready to go. Against a tough Bills defense, we could only recommend Cruz as a “what the heck” flex if he plays on Sunday.
