San Francisco 49ers RB Reggie Bush (calf) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 25, and has been ruled out for the Week 3 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Footballguys View: Bush isn’t back yet, but he’s getting closer. Carlos Hyde will get a majority of the workload against the Cardinals, but we only like him as a RB2/flex play because of the tough matchup.

DE Desmond Bryant (shoulder) and CB Justin Gilbert (hamstring) are questionable, while QB Johnny Manziel (elbow), LB Barkevious Mingo (knee) and OT Mitchell Schwartz (thumb) are probable. Solomon, Turbin, Bryant and Williams did not practice Friday, Sept. 25. Gilbert was limited, while the others practiced in full.
Oakland Raiders DT Justin Ellis (ankle) and DE Benson Mayowa (knee) have been ruled out for Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns. RB Jamize Olawale (ankle) is questionable, while DE Justin Tuck (knee) and FS Charles Woodson (shoulder) are probable. Ellis and Mayowa did not practice Friday, Sept. 25. Olawale was limited, while Tuck and Woodson practiced in full.
New Orleans Saints FS Jairus Byrd (knee) and OG Jahri Evans (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 25, and have been ruled out for the Week 3 game against the Carolina Panthers. LB Dannell Ellerbe (toe) and CB Keenan Lewis (hip) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable.
New Orleans Saints WR Brandin Cooks (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 25, and is listed as probable for the Week 3 game against the Carolina Panthers.
Footballguys View: Without Drew Brees in the lineup, we can’t recommend Cooks as anything more than a WR3/flex play in Week 3.
