Ravens | Steve Smith not slowing down
Baltimore Ravens WR Steve Smith is currently third in the league in receiving yards and targets through three games.

Saints | Drew Brees optimistic about playing
New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (shoulder) said he felt good enough to take most of the practice repetitions Wednesday, Sept. 30, and feels ‘really good’ about playing in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys. Brees threw for the first time since Week 2 Wednesday. Head coach Sean Payton said it’s ‘safe to say’ that Brees will throw every day in practice this week. ‘I’ll see how the shoulder responds tomorrow and for the rest of the day. But each day I’m able to do more and more; each day I feel stronger,’ Brees said. ‘Each day there’s more range of motion, more strength, and so that’s the key.’
Footballguys View: Stay tuned until later in the week to see if Brees is going to play. At home against the Cowboys, it would be nice to see Brees in a bounce-back game. Brees hopes to decide whether he’ll play this week Friday, Oct. 2.
