Jaguars | T.J. Yeldon to be workhorse back
Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon had 25 carries in Week 2 and could reach that number again in Week 3 against the New England Patriots. Offensive coordinator Greg Olson has no doubt that his rookie running back can handle a heavy workload. RB Denard Robinson (knee) is out for several weeks and RB Toby Gerhart (abdomen) may not be able to play this weekend. Yeldon will likely be relied on more than he was in the first two weeks. Olson also said he expects RBs Bernard Pierce and rookie Corey Grant to see more work after combining for only five yards on four carries and two catches for nine yards so far.
Footballguys View: The only problem with Yeldon this week is the chance the Patriots jump out to a big lead and make the running game irrelevant. He does have a three down skillset and should get enough volume to merit an RB2 start anyway.
