Rams | Friday injury report for Week 8

St. Louis Rams S T.J. McDonald (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers. DE Chris Long (knee), DE Robert Quinn (knee) and DE William Hayes (thigh) are questionable, while DT Nick Fairley (illness), TE Lance Kendricks (thumb) and LB James Laurinaitis (elbow) are probable. McDonald didn’t practice Friday, Oct. 30, while the others were all full participants.

49ers | Carlos Hyde will not play

San Francisco 49ers RB Carlos Hyde (foot) has been ruled out for the Week 8 game against the St. Louis Rams.

Footballguys View: Hyde was already a dicey start week to week without this issue. It seems like pulling the plug on the talented young back’s season is possible. Don’t drop him yet, but know that this isn’t going away any time soon. Reggie Bush will start with Mike Davis as the backup, but don’t expect much against the Rams.
