Cardinals | D.J. Humphries needs to add strength

Arizona Cardinals OT D.J. Humphries played behind OT Bobby Massie in 2015, but Massie is an impending free agent so Humphries has a chance to claim the starting right tackle spot in offseason and heading into training camp. He needs to add upper body strength, but feels like going against top-notch pass rushers like veteran DEs Calais Campbell and Dwight Freeney will help him.

Cardinals | Jonathan Cooper could reclaim job

Arizona Cardinals OG Jonathan Cooper lost his starting job to C Ted Larsen midway through the season, but Larsen is an impending free agent and Cooper has the chance to reclaim the starting spot in the offseason and into training camp. ‘I’m just working,’ Cooper said Tuesday, Jan. 26. ‘I want to improve. As long as I improve and become a better player than I was this year, and be a consistently great player, everything else will work out.’

Bills | Buffalo could draft quarterback

Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley said he would consider taking a quarterback early in the draft. ‘If [the opportunity] presents itself, it makes sense and it’s a guy we like, and we believe in, absolutely,’ Whaley said.

Footballguys View: Tyrod Taylor was a fine starter for the Bills this year, but they may be looking to add competition. Whaley has given a couple of halfhearted endorsements to Taylor this offseason in an interesting public display. Due only $1 million in 2016, the Bills may try to work something out long term with Taylor if they feel confident that he can be their franchise quarterback.
