Broncos | C.J. Anderson runs well
Denver Broncos RB C.J. Anderson finished with 16 carries for 72 yards and three catches for 18 yards in a 20-18 win over the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24.
Footballguys View: The Broncos are undefeated this year when Anderson gets 14 or more carries in a game. Ronnie Hillman may be the starter, but Anderson is clearly the better and more trusted back when the team needs to close out a game.
Broncos | Owen Daniels scores twice
Denver Broncos TE Owen Daniels had two catches for 33 yards and two touchdowns in a 20-18 win over the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 27 of his 56 pass attempts for 310 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in a 20-18 loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24.
Footballguys View: Brady is only the second quarterback this year to toss for over 300 yards against the Broncos defense (Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger did it twice). He stood strong against a fierce pass rush and did the most he could do. Brady was under duress for most of the game and fought valiantly to the end.
Patriots | Rob Gronkowski big in loss
New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski finished with eight catches for a game-high 144 yards and a touchdown in a 20-18 loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24.
Footballguys View: The Broncos struggle against the tight end position, and Gronkowski is arguably the best in the game at that spot. It’s no surprise that he was able to come through for the Patriots.
