Confirming a previous report, Denver Broncos CB Chris Harris Jr. (shoulder) will play in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots, despite continuing to experience some weakness and pain. He has a deep-tissue shoulder bruise that has required 24-hour treatment and even had difficulty brushing his teeth. However, the injury will not require surgery.

Former University of Memphis QB Paxton Lynch is being trained by former Univeristy of Central Florida offensive coordinator Charlie Taaffe, and Taaffe said Lynch has a stronger arm than Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles, who played for Central Florida when Taaffe was the coordinator.

Panthers | Greg Olsen facing tough matchup
Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen faces the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24, and LB Deone Bucannon allowed eight catches for 105 yards and no touchdowns against the top seven tight ends this season.
Footballguys View: The Cardinals are going to do whatever they can to slow down Olsen. This is likely to hamper what QB Cam Newton does through the air. We’ll see if the Panthers can find creative ways to get Olsen open.
Eagles | More production from Zach Ertz?
Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz posted 75 receptions in 2015, but he had six games with three receptions or fewer in 15 games played. Ertz hasn’t been featured as much in the passing game in recent seasons, but head coach Doug Pederson maximized the talents of Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce in their time together, now Ertz is likely to be in the game plan more going forward.
