The Denver Broncos were only able to run for 46 yards and no touchdowns on 16 carries with New England Patriots LB Dont’a Hightower in the game in their Week 12 matchup. After Hightower left due to an injury, Broncos RBs C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman piled up 133 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries. LB Jamie Collins also missed that game.
Footballguys View: Our own Cecil Lammey recently wrote about how Anderson has to be the key if the Broncos are to have a shot at the Super Bowl this year. He will split carries with Ronnie Hillman, but we like Anderson better and have him right behind bell cow backs David Johnson and Jonathan Stewart.
