Browns | Cleveland not rushing Manziel decision
The Cleveland Browns are in ‘no panic’ to make a quick decision on the future of QB Johnny Manziel, according to new vice president of football operations Sashi Brown. The Browns will also asses the future of suspended WR Josh Gordon once they know if he’ll be reinstated by commissioner Roger Goodell.
Broncos | Peyton Manning in shotgun less
The Denver Broncos ran 83.7% of their plays out of the shotgun formation during the regular season when QB Peyton Manning played. However, against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, the Broncos only ran 52.1% out of the shotgun with Manning.
Footballguys View: We’ll see how the pass rush changes that. Manning is not someone we trust in fantasy lineups this week, so avoid him no matter what the formation is.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas was shut down by Pats
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas had just one catch for 36 yards against New England Patriots CB Logan Ryan in Week 12. The matchup is expected to be the same for the AFC Championship game, and Patriots CB Malcolm Butler will likely match up against WR Emmanuel Sanders.
Footballguys View: Thomas is doing a good job of shutting himself down lately, considering the case of hand yips he seems to have contracted. The Broncos need him to pull it together soon though, and he’ll get plenty of targets this week. His struggles with drops and thel ikely focus on him from the defense keeps him as a WR2 though.
