NFL | Ray Rice still wants to return

Free-agent RB Ray Rice (Ravens) continues to train and remains hopeful of landing a spot to resume his NFL playing career in 2016. ‘Honestly, I’m never going to give up. You don’t want to give up something you started. You want to finish the right way,’ Rice said Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Footballguys View: Nothing would surprise us, but it just doesn’t seem like Rice is going to play in the NFL ever again.

Eagles | Kiko Alonso likely on weak side

Philadelphia Eagles LB Kiko Alonso is likely to shift over to weak-side linebacker with defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. Schwartz envisioned Alonso on the weak side when they were together with the Buffalo Bills before the linebacker suffered an injury.

Footballguys View: Alonso can be a productive player no matter where he lines up in the NFL. Injuries and lack of durability are the biggest concern with the veteran linebacker.
