Seahawks | Marshawn Lynch to have big cap hit

Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch will take an $11.5 million cap hit next season — the highest cap hit for any running back under contract for 2016. Comparatively, RB Thomas Rawls will only take a $530,000 cap hit. Additionally, Rawls drastically out produced Lynch in 2015. Lynch gained 497 yards from scrimmage on 292 snaps, with 3.8 yards per carry and a 57% third-down conversion rate. Rawls gained 906 yards from scrimmage on 279 snaps, with 5.6 yards per carry (most in NFL) and a 75% third-down conversation rate.

Eagles | Sam Bradford finished on strong note

Philadelphia Eagles impending free-agent QB Sam Bradford completed 202 of 304 passes for 2,164 yards and 10 touchdowns while throwing just five interceptions in his final eight games of the 2015 season. Bradford has already been lauded by new head coach Doug Pederson, and Pederson believes Bradford would be a perfect fit in the system Pederson will implement.

Broncos | Denver run game had success against Pats

Denver Broncos RBs Ronnie Hillman and C.J. Anderson combined to rush for 172 yards in a Week 12 win over the New England Patriots. Anderson closed out the divisional round win over the Pittsburgh Steelers running well, and he could see the ball more often early against the Patriots.

Footballguys View: Anderson and Hillman could be the key for the Broncos on Sunday. They could continue to use Hillman as the starter, but Anderson has been the more effective back in recent weeks.

Cardinals | Larry Fitzgerald has nice matchup

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald is expected to be covered by Carolina Panthers CB Cortland Finnegan in the NFC Championship game this weekend.

Footballguys View: Finnegan is certainly not the player he used to be, and this would be a great matchup for Fitzgerald to exploit. With Panthers CB Josh Norman focused on outside receivers like Michael Floyd, we could see Cardinals QB Carson Palmer go to Fitzgerald early and often.

Eagles | Sam Bradford praised by new head coach

Philadelphia Eagles QB Sam Bradford is a top-notch quarterback in the opinion of new head coach Doug Pederson.

Footballguys View: Is a top-notch quarterback worth investing big money into? Bradford also has a long injury history that will have to be factored in when considering a new deal for the veteran quarterback. Bradford is set to be an unrestricted free agent in 2016.

Cardinals | Larry Fitzgerald sets postseason record

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald became the fastest player ever to reach 10 postseason receiving touchdowns. It took Fitzgerald eight games to accomplish the feat, and only six other players have caught as many touchdowns in the postseason.

Footballguys View: We are so happy to see Fitzgerald once again play deep into the postseason. If the Cardinals get to the Super Bowl, it should be because of the play of this future Hall of Fame receiver.

Patriots | Gronk played well against Broncos

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski had 88 yards and a touchdown on six catches against the Denver Broncos in Week 12 before injuring his knee.

Footballguys View: Gronkowski is tough to stop for any defense, even a world-class defense like the Broncos have. However, they have historically struggled against the tight end position and Gronkowski is one of the best in history. So long as he’s healthy, the Patriots should use him early and often.
