NFL | Cardale Jones suffers injury

Ohio State QB Cardale Jones (hamstring) suffered an apparent hamstring injury while running the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine and will not be able to participate in any of the other drills.

Footballguys View: We’ll see if Jones is able to run at his pro day later this year. Jones is a big, strong-armed quarterback who is likely to go off the board in the second or third round of the 2016 NFL draft.

NFL | Paxton Lynch runs at combine

Memphis QB Paxton Lynch posted unofficial times of 4.88 seconds and 4.87 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Footballguys View: Lynch can get away from pressure and keep plays alive with his feet. He’s likely to be a first-round pick, but he needs to show better pass placement and demeanor under pressure in order to play up to his potential in the pros.
