Memphis QB Paxton Lynch said he is scheduled to talk with the Cleveland Browns at the NFL Scouting Combine Friday, Feb. 26.

Footballguys View: The Browns have the no.2 overall pick, and we just don’t see them taking Lynch at that spot. He’s likely a first-round pick, but Lynch should go off the board somewhere after the top 10 selections are gone.

Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith (knee) said he had a formal meeting with the Detroit Lions at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Ohio State LB Noah Spence has conducted interviews with the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Washington Redskins and New York Giants at the NFL Scouting Combine this week. Spence dominated during practices for the Senior Bowl, and his stock as a first-round discussion has increased since then, despite multiple failed drug tests while in college.

Updating a previous item, Georgia RB Keith Marshall not only posted a 4.31-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine Friday, Feb. 26, but he put up 25 repetitions on the bench press Thursday, Feb. 25. He ran for only 1,379 yards and 12 touchdowns in three seasons at Georgia, but he also suffered multiple knee injuries.

Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith (knee) could miss the entire 2016 season because of the knee injury he suffered this season. Smith said he believes he is a long-term player for his next team.

The Tennessee Titans, who hold the first overall pick in the draft, are doing their due diligence on Ohio State LB Joey Bosa. The Titans used a significant portion of the 15-minute combine interview session with Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott to ask him questions about his teammate Bosa, according to sources. NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah ranks Bosa as the fourth-best prospect in the draft. Bosa is scheduled to perform every drill at the NFL Scouting Combine.
