Washington Redskins impending free-agent LB Junior Galette (Achilles’) fired his agent Peter Schaffer, putting his talks with the Redskins on hold for now. Galette remains intent on re-signing, and he would like a one-year prove-it deal after suffering a torn Achilles’ tendon. Washington offered a multi-year deal with a low base salary and incentives, but Galette wasn’t interested. Galette’s next agent will be his fourth since entering the league. He’s on track to practice in full when the team begins their offseason activities this spring.
