Seahawks | Seattle wants to protect Russell Wilson

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson could lose impending free-agents OT Russell Okung and J.R. Sweezy in free agency, but Seattle’s offseason focus will still be protecting their start quarterback. ‘I think that’s a real area of focus again, so we’ll be talking about it,’ head coach Pete Carroll said. ‘We’ve got a couple unrestricted guys [on the offensive line]. We’re going to have to deal with how that works out. It’s a really important area for us, of course.’

NFL | Myles Jack could be cleared soon

UCLA LB Myles Jack (knee) has not been cleared to participate fully in the NFL scouting combine next week, but he expected to be fully cleared in early March. Jack said he feels great and that he can do whatever he wants nearly five months after tearing his lateral meniscus.

Footballguys View: This report reveals that he will do the bench press, attend team interviews and undergo the medical check at the combine in Indianapolis.
