Seattle Seahawks SS Kam Chancellor isn’t expected to hold out this year, according to general manager John Schneider. Schneider said recently that Chancellor will ‘absolutely’ be with the Seahawks in 2016. Chancellor is due $5.1 million this year and $6.8 million in 2017, which is the last year of a five-year, $29 million deal.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers FS Bradley McDougald signed his one-year restricted free-agent tender Tuesday, April 5.

Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott is visiting with the Denver Broncos Tuesday, April 5.

Footballguys View: We’d like the fit if the Broncos added Prescott. He’s athletic and there are shades of Donovan McNabb to his game. Prescott is a project as a passer, but he’s shown the willingness and ability to make plays from the pocket. He’s likely to be a mid-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft.

Ohio State CB Eli Apple is meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars Tuesday, April 5, according to various reports.

Footballguys View: Apple has good size at 6’1″ and he can use that length to break up passes downfield. He likes to win at the point of the catch, and Apple can be quite disruptive on contested passes.

Baltimore Ravens RB Justin Forsett (arm), who is already lifting weights again, plans to get X-rays next week to determine how far along he is in his recovery from a broken arm. ‘I’m excited to get back this season,’ Forsett said. ‘Big expectations for myself and I’m just ready to get back at it and be 100%.’

The Jacksonville Jaguars are meeting with Florida State CB Jalen Ramsey, Notre Dame OT Ronnie Stanley, Alabama LB Reggie Ragland and Florida CB Vernon Hargreaves III Tuesday, April 5. Ragland met with the Baltimore Ravens Monday, April 4.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (thumb) is throwing the ball again and has no restrictions with his thumb, and he has visited with passing specialist Tom House once already this offseason. Dalton isn’t worried about the loss of WRs Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu in free agency this year.

Southern California LB Su’a Cravens will begin his visits with the New Orleans Saints, and then he’ll meet with the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions.

Mississippi DE Robert Nkemdiche met with the Arizona Cardinals Monday, April 4, and will visit the Oakland Raiders Tuesday, April 5, the Jacksonville Jaguars Wednesday, April 6, and the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, April 7. He visited with the Denver Broncos last week. Nkemdiche isn’t likely to be an option for the Raiders or Jaguars in the first round because of his off-field concerns.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has lost at least 15 pounds this offseason with a cardio regimen in an attempt to avoid joint pain and injuries.
