The Green Bay Packers have acquired the 48th overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft from the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for the 57th overall pick, 125th overall pick and 248th overall pick in the draft. The Packers picked OT Jason Spriggs with the selection.

Buffalo Bills LB Reggie Ragland will compete with LBs Preston Brown and Zach Brown for the starting middle linebacker spot in the Bills’ 3-4 defense. General manager Doug Whaley views Ragland as a leader, though, and will bring something to the defense the Bills need, according to Whaley.

Miami Dolphins RB Daniel Thomas already knows the offensive terminology and what to expect, according to head coach Adam Gase. Gase added that Thomas is a step ahead of everyone in meetings, too, as Thomas played under Gase when they were both with the Chicago Bears.

Footballguys View: The Dolphins say Jay Ajayi is the man there, but we wouldn’t be shocked if Thomas had a nice-sized role as well. Whether it will kill Ajayi’s fantasy value or not remains to be seen.

The Detroit Lions selected Alabama DT A’Shawn Robinson with the No. 46 overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft on Friday, April 29.

The Chicago Bears traded the 41st overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for the 49th overall pick, a 2016 fourth-round pick and a 2017 fourth-round draft choice. The Bills picked LB Reggie Ragland with the selection.
