NFL | Two teams looking to trade back

The Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns have both inquired about trading back into the back part of the first round of the NFL draft, according to sources, possibly for Memphis QB Paxton Lynch.

Footballguys View: There will be a lot of activity in the second half of the first round if Lynch drops and you can include the Chiefs and Broncos among their number.

Cowboys | Ezekiel Elliott gaining steam with Dallas

The case for Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott to be drafted by the Dallas Cowboys appears to be gaining steam, according to David Moore of The Dallas Morning News.

Footballguys View: We’ll see if this plays out or not. There’s so much smoke fire alarms are going off. They want to trade back into the late first as well, so we still think they will lean defense for the first pick.

NFL | Myles Jack could fall outside top 10

UCLA LB Myles Jack is likely to fall outside of the top 10 picks in the NFL draft, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. He does have potential landing spots in the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders soon after, though. The New Orleans Saints, who have the 12th pick, have also shown a good deal of interest in Jack.

Footballguys View: The New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears are strong possibilities as well.

Rams | Los Angeles hoping to trade Nick Foles

Los Angeles Rams QB Nick Foles could be traded as a result of the Rams likely drafting a quarterback Thursday, April 28, on the first day of the NFL draft. Several teams have already expressed interest in Foles, but if he is unable to be swapped then he will likely be released.

Footballguys View: Good luck with that. Maybe if they offer some In N Out, they’d get interest. Foles was a disaster for the Rams, so there will be few teams calling and they certainly will not be offering very much value.
