Jaguars | Justin Blackmon pleads guilty

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge from December in Oklahoma Thursday, April 28. He’s scheduled to be sentenced June 8. It was Blackmon’s third alcohol-related arrest and fourth arrest overall. He hasn’t practiced or played since Week 8 of the 2013 season, and he’s been suspended indefinitely since. The Jaguars believe Blackmon is unlikely to play in the NFL again.

NFL | Teams shying away from Myles Jack

UCLA LB Myles Jack (knee) has ‘buyer beware’ stamped on him going into the first round of the NFL Draft Thursday, April 28. Scouts and executives are starting to shy away from him because of the uncertainty surrounding the degenerative meniscus issues in his right knee. He’s expected to be available Day 1 as a rookie, but his knee likely will require microfracture surgery eventually. Teams are likely to be reluctant to use a first-round pick on him.

Broncos | Von Miller negotiations peaceful

Denver Broncos franchise free-agent LB Von Miller said negotiations on a long-term deal with the Broncos are ‘just business.’ ‘My teammates know what type of teammate I am,’ Miller said. ‘They know what type of guy I am. It’s just the business part of it. There’s really no hard feelings or anything like that. (The Broncos) know what type of guy I am. I’m expecting a deal any day. That’s just the type of mindset I have.’

Footballguys View: We don’t know how long this will take (maybe until camp starts) but the Broncos will eventually pay the man. He’s too important to the cause to not do so.
