NFL | Jalen Ramsey prefers cornerback
Florida State CB Jalen Ramsey said ‘corner’ when asked what position he hopes to play in the NFL. Some evaluators think Ramsey will move to safety in the NFL while also playing cornerback in certain coverages. ‘I will play anywhere a team wants me to play, just like I did in college it doesn’t matter to me. I want to play ball,’ Ramsey admitted.
Broncos | Colin Kaepernick to DEN still likely?
San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick is likely to be acquired by the Denver Broncos, in the opinion of ESPN analyst, and former NFL executive, Mark Dominik. Dominik said Wednesday, April 27, on ESPN’s Russillo and Kanell, that when Kaepernick met with Broncos team president John Elway, the parameters of a deal and a contract were likely mapped out. Dominik said it didn’t benefit the 49ers to let Kaepernick visit the Broncos if a deal wasn’t going to happen. Dominik opined that he thinks a trade could happen Friday, April 29, or Saturday, April 30, because the 49ers are likely set on drafting a quarterback in the first three rounds.

Jets | Kamalei Correa has Jets interest
Boise State LB Kamalei Correa is a player drawing the interest of the New York Jets as an edge rusher, but New York may have to wait until the second round of the NFL Draft.
Jets | Gang Green cool on Paxton Lynch
Memphis QB Paxton Lynch’s interest from the New York Jets has cooled, according to sources. Lynch reportedly scored an 18 on the Worderlic test, and there are concerns about his maturity and ability to handle the cerebral nature of the position. The Jets are likely to pass on him at No. 20.
Footballguys View: Lynch has a chance to move up the board because the top two quarterbacks will go 1-2, but if he gets past Cleveland at 8 and Buffalo at 19, the Jets being out might see Lynch fall all the way to Denver at 31 – that is if a team doesn’t trade back into the first round for him. Of course, everything we hear this close to the draft should be taken with a grain of salt.
