San Francisco 49ers DT Glenn Dorsey (knee) is making ‘great progress,’ according to general manager Trent Baalke, as the defensive tackle makes his way back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament. However, it is too soon to say if he’ll be ready for the regular season opener. ‘I’m never going to give a definitive because you don’t know,’ Baalke said. ‘You could always have a setback, but right now he’s made great progress. Looks good.’

Retired OT Anthony Davis and San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke have not had any in-person discussion, although the two have exchanged text messages. Davis has not yet applied for reinstatement after retiring from the league last year. ‘I’m not going to get into our conversations within the media,’ Baalke said. ‘We’ve had several text messages back and forth and that’s the extent of the conversations.’

Titans | Might not pick up option on Chance Warmack

Tennessee Titans OG Chance Warmack has been one of the most durable linemen during his four-year stint with the team, but the team may be leaning against picking up the offensive lineman’s $11.9 million salary that would become guaranteed for the 2017 season. If the team decline’s Warmack’s option, they still could negotiate with him regarding a contract extension all the way up until he hits the free agent market in March 2017.

Eagles | Sam Bradford upset about trade

Philadelphia Eagles QB Sam Bradford was not happy after the Eagles traded up for the No. 2 overall pick, with which they are expected to draft a quarterback. Bradford is mad and wants to show everyone who is best, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Although, executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman said Bradford is still the starter.
