Cardinals | Larry Fitzgerald singing swan song?

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald said he has not really thought about the possibility of this being his last season playing in the NFL. Fitzgerald signed a two-year deal last offseason and said he’s focused on finishing that deal this season. He hinted that if the Cardinals won the Super Bowl this season, he would lean towards retirement. ‘A lot of it’s tied to Carson (Palmer) – Carson’s playing at a high level,’ Fitzgerald said. ‘I don’t want to go through any other quarterback situations. It’s been great to have the stability that we have now with the big fella, he’s been playing lights out.’

Dolphins | Miami not ruling out QB

The Miami Dolphins said they could still draft a quarterback this year despite head coach Adam Gase being committed to QB Ryan Tannehill as the starting quarterback. ‘We added (Zach) Dysert, Logan Thomas, Ryan. But if the right opportunity in the draft presented for a quarterback we’re not going to rule that out. We want to have as much strength and flexibility in the draft (as possible) and that’s something Adam, Chris (Grier) and I talk about 25 times a day. In fact I think Adam, starts rolling his eyes when I start saying it. There’s a lot more work to be done at every position,’ executive vice president of football operations Mike Tannenbaum said.
