One NFL executive told NFL.com that Oakman is ‘undraftable’ with the 2016 NFL Draft so near and the situation up in the air.

Dallas Cowboys TE Jason Witten played in all 16 games for a 12th straight season in 2015, and despite four quarterbacks last season he managed to snag a team-high 77 receptions. Witten came off the field for a total of seven snaps out of a possible 1,019 plays.

Dallas Cowboys TE James Hanna elected to return the team after entering unrestricted free agency in March. He hasn’t been a major factor in the passing game in the past, but he is viewed as a solid blocker who is an underrated asset in the running game. With TE Gavin Escobar (Achilles’) suffered a torn Achilles’ in December, and a question mark for the season, Hanna could have a big role.

Dallas Cowboys TE Gavin Escobar (Achilles’) continues to rehab from a torn Achilles’ tendon suffered last December. His recovery could extend into the start of the 2016 regular season, as a timeline for his return is not yet known. He might begin the season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.

Dallas Cowboys TE Geoff Swaim appeared in four games as a rookie with just one pass reception, playing a total of 23 snaps. He played two games in December once TE Gavin Escobar (Achilles’) was injured, and could start out as the No. 3 tight end on the depth chart if Escobar isn’t ready to start the 2016 season.
