Detroit Lions FS Glover Quin (ankle) underwent ankle surgery this offseason. He said he feels good, though, and that his recovery is ahead of schedule. He hopes to be cleared for the start of voluntary workouts next week.

Free-agent QB Johnny Manziel’s (Browns) agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has told Manziel that he needs to get treatment or Rosenhaus will cease representing the embattled quarterback. Rosenhaus has terminated his standard representation with Manziel, but said there is a five-day window for him to rescind that decision.

Memphis QB Paxton Lynch visited the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, April 11, Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott visited Tuesday, April 12, North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz visited Wednesday, April 13, and California QB Jared Goff will visit Thursday, April 14.

The Cleveland Browns have been called in regards to trading their No. 2 overall draft pick, according to director of football operations Sashi Brown. Brown expects more serious calls in about a week. He added that it’s highly unlikely that the Browns would trade up to the No. 1 pick, but they could trade down in order to accrue more picks.

Updating a previous report, free-agent DL Dominique Easley (Patriots) is healthy and still had guaranteed money left when he was cut by the New England Patriots. The Patriots essentially paid him to leave.

Footballguys View: Ouch. Not a good sign for Easley here. Reports are coming in that off-field issues got Easley bounced from the Patriots and not the chronic knee problems that have plagued him as a pro.

Free-agent QB Johnny Manziel (Browns) was a passenger in a hit-and-run collision that is under investigation by Los Angeles police. Manziel and others involved were not injured and no other vehicles were involved. Manziel was interviewed and the investigation is ongoing.

Ohio State WR Michael Thomas will work out for the Los Angeles Rams Friday, April 15.

San Diego Chargers QB Brad Sorensen was waived with a non-football injury designation Wednesday, April 13.

Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins CB Greg Toler signed his one-year deal Wednesday, April 13. Financial terms were not disclosed.
