Ravens | Dennis Pitta will try to play

Baltimore Ravens TE Dennis Pitta (hip) will attempt to play in 2016, according to a source. Pitta is expected to participate in the team’s offseason workouts and the spring practices, with the hope being he will be ready for full contact this summer and into the fall when the season begins.

Footballguys View: Pitta is resilient, we’ll give him that. This hip problem was supposed to end his playing days in the NFL, but Pitta continues to fight for the chance to make it back. He hasn’t played a down since 2014.
