Buccaneers | Two players sign tenders

Tampa Buccaneers WR Russell Shepard and DE Jacquies Smith signed their restricted free-agent tender and exclusive-rights free-agent tender, respectively, Monday, April 11.

Footballguys View: Shepard has incredible athleticism, but he’s not much of a fantasy factor. The Bucs are looking for a WR3 behind Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson, and Shepard will be in that mix.

Buccaneers | Jameis Winston in better shape

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston said he’s been eating better and working hard on conditioning since the end of the 2015 regular season.

Footballguys View: Winston is a player with amazing upside. He needs to get better in the red zone and make better decisions during key moments. Winston has to develop better chemistry with WRs Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson. It would also help the Bucs offense if TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins stays healthy and plays up to his potential.

Bills | LeSean McCoy unlikely to face discipline

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy is unlikely to face discipline from the NFL for his role in a nightclub altercation in Philadelphia, according to two sources with knowledge of the situation. The NFL continues to investigate the situation, but the belief is that McCoy won’t be suspended. A lack of evidence in the case is working in McCoy’s favor.
