Memphis QB Paxton Lynch will meet with the New York Jets on Thursday, April 14, according to a team source.

Footballguys View: The Jets could be considering Lynch with the 20th-overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft. He’s got a nice size/athleticism combination and the athleticism to keep plays alive with his feet while keeping his eyes downfield. Lynch doesn’t make a lot of mistakes with the football, but he played in a passer-friendly system in college…working primarily out of the shotgun.
