Dolphins | Sign two draft picks

Miami Dolphins WR Leonte Carroo and TE Thomas Duarte signed their four-year rookie contracts Tuesday, May 24. Financial terms were undisclosed.

Footballguys View: Carroo is a player to keep an eye on, and he’s a rookie WR we loved watching on film. He’s a big play waiting to happen, and Carroo plays with a good strength/speed combination. The Dolphins picked him up in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft, and this year he should win the WR3 job behind Devante Parker and Jarvis Landry.

Bills | Reggie Ragland signs deal

Buffalo Bills LB Reggie Ragland signed his four-year rookie contract Tuesday, May 24. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: Ragland is a throwback linebacker who arrives at the ball-carrier with nasty intentions. He sees the field well, and his high football intelligence allows him to read the play as it unfolds in front of him. He’s athletic enough to work well in zone coverage, and Ragland can even add some punch as a rusher if needed.

Jets | Sign Romar Morris

Undrafted free-agent RB Romar Morris (North Carolina) was signed by the New York Jets Tuesday, May 24.

Footballguys View: Morris tried out with the team earlier this year, and the Jets saw enough to sign him. The long-shot is a smaller back (185 pounds) and should work as a special-teams player and change-of-pace back if he makes the Jets final roster.
