Bengals | Andy Dalton to boost Tyler Boyd’s game?

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd said he believes playing with QB Andy Dalton will help him elevate his performance. ‘With him throwing me to open space, making me catch it away from defenders, making it a lot easier for me I feel like it’ll just take my game to a whole other level than what I think it’s already at,’ Boyd said. ‘It’ll completely change me.’

Footballguys View: Dalton is solid on the shorter throws to slot receivers, which is where Boyd will be. Boyd has a lot of work to do to get up to speed, but with Dalton throwing and AJ Green occupying defenses, the rookie could develop into a decent WR4 or better this season.

Eagles | Zach Ertz not worried about QB situation

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz said he isn’t going to run his routes any differently for QB Sam Bradford than he would for QB Carson Wentz.

Footballguys View: Ertz topped 800 yards last season and could approach 1,00 this year. Hopefully he’ll see more red zone work though, as he has to improve on his two touchdowns to be a real fantasy factor.

Jaguars | Jalen Ramsey’s timetable uncertain

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey’s (knee) timetable for recovery could be four to six weeks or four to six months, depending on the second opinion he receives, according to a source. Ramsey has two possible treatment options for his meniscus tear.

Footballguys View: As we mentioned earlier today, this lines up with what Footballguys own Dr. Jene Bramel predicted. We will be waiting to see how this works out and when we will see Ramsey on the field.

Dolphins | No concern with Laremy Tunsil

Miami Dolphins OT Laremy Tunsil (ankle) is full-go for offseason activities despite a recent report that he has a pre-arthritic ankle condition. Executive vice president of football operations Mike Tannenbaum said the Dolphins never had a concern about the rookie’s ankle.

Footballguys View: Miami can sigh in relief. Tunsil is going to be a big upgrade for this line if he can keep his off-field chaos under control. That’s good for Jay Ajayi, Ryan Tannehill and Jarvis Landry.
