Bears | Coach thinks Jeremy Langford can improve

Chicago Bears RB Jeremy Langford could improve his work in the passing game, but the team likes where he is at this point, according to offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains. ‘We like where Jeremy’s at,’ Loggains said. ‘He needs to continue to develop. There are things he can do a better job of in the passing game.’

Footballguys View: Langford is a good all-purpose back, but we agree that he can improve his game. The Bears will be moving on from Matt Forte (Jets) this year, and Langford should have the first crack to be the lead back.

Bears | Jordan Howard will have role in 2016

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard will be used as a change-of-pace back in 2016 since he has a different style of running than RB Kendall Langford, according to offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains. ‘He’s a change-of-pace back. Their skill sets are different. We’ll use the skill set the way it needs to be. We won’t ask them to both do the same thing, but we’ll find out what Howard does well and we’ll play to that,’ Loggains said.

Browns | Corey Coleman not in shape

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman must get into better shape for his rookie season, according to head coach Hue Jackson ‘He’s got to get in shape,’ Jackson said. ‘He’s explosive and he can catch the ball. He’s extremely talented and gifted. (But) he’s one of the guys that has to get in shape. He saw himself, ‘whoa, this is different.’ And it is. But we’ll get him to where he needs to be.’
