Last year was a terrible season for Spiller as he had only one game with more than 4 carries and only one game with more than 5 targets. Spiller said knee surgery during training camp last season played a big role in his disappointing season. Now healthy, we’ll see if he can have a bounce-back season and be the weapon the Saints were hoping for when they signed him in free agency.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Ryan Mathews has taken most of the first-team repetitions out of the backfield this offseason, but RBs Kenjon Barner and Darren Sproles shared those reps with Mathews, too. Head coach Doug Pederson expects a committee with those three backs and RB Wendell Smallwood.
