Titans | Marcus Mariota becoming a leader

Tennessee Titans QB Marcus Mariota appears to have a better grasp of the offense and has been a true leader during offseason workouts, according to DT Jurrell Casey.

Footballguys View: Mariota should have a better grasp of the offense entering his second season. The team is built around their rushing attack featuring both DeMarco Murray and rookie Derrick Henry, so that should keep things simpler for Mariota when going to the air. We love his dynasty value, but in re-draft leagues we can only recommend Mariota as a low-end QB2. His current ADP is QB16 (10.12) in 12-team PPR leagues.

Browns | Terrelle Pryor improving

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor has made significant improvement at wide receiver this offseason, according to wide receivers coach Al Saunders. Pryor still has some work to do, but the team is optimistic that he can produce at receiver.

Footballguys View: The Browns have added a ton of WR talent this year, mostly through the draft. Pryor is big and athletic, but those skills alone may not be enough to insure him a spot on the 53-man roster. We’ll be monitoring his progress in training camp.

Browns | Joe Haden making good progress

Cleveland Browns CB Joe Haden (ankle) is making good progress in his recovery from offseason ankle surgery, according to secondary coach Louis Cioffi.

Footballguys View: We’ll be happy to see Haden back to full strength for the Browns this year. When healthy, Haden has shutdown corner upside and can be a player opposing QBs have to stay away from. Cioffi said he expects Haden to be ready for the start of the season and believes he can be a Pro Bowl player in 2016.

Browns | Corey Coleman impressing head coach

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman was very impressive during organized team activities and minicamp after working himself into NFL shape, according to head coach Hue Jackson. Jackson said Coleman is a tremendous player but still needs to earn his playing time.

Footballguys View: Coleman’s game is all about speed, speed and more speed. With Travis Benjamin (Chargers) moving on in free agency, the Browns are looking for a WR1 and the rookie Coleman may be that guy. Watch to see if he can continue to impress during training camp and the preseason.
