Titans | Andre Johnson delivers in first practice

Tennessee Titans WR Andre Johnson made several nice catches during his first practice Saturday, July 30, and head coach Mike Mularkey said Johnson will have a chance to compete for a starting spot.

Footballguys View: The Titans want to run the ball as much as possible. They don’t have a passing game built to put up a ton of fantasy points. If Johnson continues to impress and make the 53-man roster we don’t feel he’s going to have much fantasy value with the Titans.

Jaguars | Malik Jackson trims down

Jacksonville Jaguars DT Malik Jackson was asked to improve his cardio and drop some weight following OTAs, and he reported to training camp 12 pounds lighter. ‘I want them to know I am who they thought I am,’ Jackson said. ‘This was the first step in building that relationship. They trusted me to go back and do those things, so they’re excited about that now.’

Footballguys View: Jackson was a big free agent prize for the Jaguars. He seemed to get better and better each year with the Broncos. We’ll see if Jackson can continue to improve and greatly benefit the Jaguars pass rush.
